Selection Procedure.
All the candidate willing to get Jobs in Seema Suraksha Bal (Sashastra Seema Bal) has to go through written test/ physical test/ medical test/ skill or trade test/ document verification etc.
NOTE:- EX-SERVICEMEN ARE EXEMPTED FROM PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TEST. HOWEVER, THEY WILL HAVE TO APPEAR IN COMMON ENTRANCE TEST, TRADE/TECHNICAL TEST AND DETAILED MEDICAL EXAMINATION.
PHYSICALLY FITNESS TEST:-
MINOR AILMENTS:-
In order to qualify the physical test, rectify these minor elements.
–Wax (Ears),Deviated Nasal Septum,Hydrocele/Phimosis
–Overweight/Underweight, Under sized Chest, Piles
–Gynaecomastia,Tonsillitis,Varicocele
— You must be free from serious diseases.
— You must not be any bone & joint disease.
— You must not have mental breakdown or fits.
— You must have well developed chest.
Your chest must be fully expanded & not less than 81 c.m.
After full inspiration the minimum chest expansion is 5 c.m.
–There must be a routine of ECG and EEG check up for Air Force candidates.It should be within normal limits.
HEIGHT & WEIGHT:-
— Minimum acceptable height required is 157.5 c.m. But it is 162.5 c.m in case of Air Force.
— Minimum height required is 152.5 c.m. for Gorkhas and individuals belonging to hills of North Eastern regions of India, Garhwal and Kumaon candidates.
EYE CONDITIONS:-
TEETH:-
— You must have sound , healthy & natural teeth.
— You must not suffering from Pyorrhoea.
EAR, NOSE, THROAT :-
— You must not have any past record of ear, nose & throat.
— Your hearing must be normal.
— Audiometric test is also done for air force.
SPINE CONDITIONS:-
If these conditions are detected in your X-ray test, then you are disqualified for joining in army.
Granulomatius disease of spine

Incomplete Sacaralisation Unilateral or Bilateral

Spinabifida other than SV 1 and LV 5
|
Any other abnormality, if so considered by specialist

— Your blood pressure must be normal.
— You must not have any severe skin disease.
— You must not have any abnormality in urine.
